What is a Thrift Certificate?

A Thrift Certificate is like a gift certificate. You can use it for cash at participating local businesses. We sell Thrift Certificates for half the face value or less. So if you buy a $10 Thrift Certificate from a local restaurant, you will pay $5 and redeem it for $10 at the restaurant.


Can I give a Thrift Certificate as a gift?

Sure, you will just have to print out and give the recipient the original Thrift Certificate in the original Adobe Acrobat format. The Thrift Certificates are emailed to you upon check out and a download link is provided for you to download each item purchased.


Does the recipient have to have the payment receipt?

Yes, the sales reciept along with the Thrift Certificate will allow the business owner to verify the authenticity.


For how long is an iQpon good?

It depends on the business - most are valid for 7 to 30 days from issue date. Each iQpon will specify the particluar expiration date.


For how long is a Thrift Certificate good?

Thrift Certificates are good for one year from date of purchase.


How do I buy a Thrift Certificate?

Simply add the Thrift Certificates you want to your shopping cart while browsing the site. When you are ready, click "View Cart" to begin the checkout process. Upon completion you will recieve a receipt via email, along with a download link for each Thrift Certificate purchased.


How do I find out when new Thrift Certificates become available?

You can sign up to receive email alerts here - Sign Up Here

You can also elect to receive an email when sold out Thrift Certificates are added in to inventory. The shopping cart will allow you to do this if you try to add a sold out Thrift Certificate to your cart.


Can I use all 2 or 3 Thrift Certificates for one purchase?

Unless specified on the checkout page, each Thrift Certificate may not be used in conjunction with any other Thrift Certificates, iQpons, specials, or discounts.


How many iQpons can I print off?

As many as you like! (and have ink for...)

What security is provided for payments made for Thrift Certificates?

We use Paypal - the same processor as eBay. Your credit or debit card information in never stored on this site. In fact, we never see your credit or debit card data. The entire transaction is handled on the secure servers at Paypal.com

If I give eHub my e-mail address, will it be given to anyone else?

Never - we hate spam as much as you!
